It is said that Florian once put out a raging fire with a single pitcher of water. Florian was a 4th-century Roman soldier who confessed his own Christianity rather than take part in the persecution of Christians in Austria. For this, a millstone was tied around his neck, and he was thrown into the River Enns (Austria) in 304 AD.
"San Florian protect us!"
